We are looking for a Sales Order Administrator to work in our client’s busy Sales team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for processing orders, preparing quotations, liaison with customers re product availability and delivery dates, liaison with the Accounts department, updating of databases, general administration tasks, etc.

 

 

Ideally they will possess 3 x GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification/experience), possess a good standard of English and Maths and have administration and customer service experience. 

 

  • You will need good keyboard skills,
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook,
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as within a team and can work under pressure and to deadlines. 
  • You need to be keen, committed, hard-working and due to the nature of the business, will be reliable, flexible with good timekeeping and attendance.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Planning locations of appointments
  • To take in-coming calls from clients and book mutually convenient appointments
  • To contact clients to schedule appointments
  • Assign technicians to scheduled appointments
  • To ensure paperwork is properly logged and filed
  • To confirm client’s appointments by letter
  • To carry out general administration duties, e.g. filing, photocopying, faxing etc
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Ensure all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures
  • Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is adopted at all times
  • Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both yourself and others
